About the drawing:
Mike tea mug . Staircase . Parasol - Combining 3 small objects or environments, unrelated but very "Hong Kong", in this imaginary drawing. They are inconspicuous in our daily lives, yet full of character and history.
- milk tea mug: it is used in traditional old-school HK cafes (see another drawing called "Cha Chaan Tang")
- staircase in an old building: this kind of residential building is called "Tong Lau", with no elevator and only stairs that made of many small tiles, given you a touch of vintage.
- parasol: This type of parasol can be rented from a small store on the beach. In high season, the beach is full of parasols, like a whole piece of protection when you see from far away.
